  • I just received confirmation that I’ve been accepted into the trade program. Why can’t I place an order online? After you receive your approval email, please wait 24 hours before placing your first online order to ensure that your information is updated in our system. Then log into your profile and start your ordering. Your discount will apply at checkout.
  • Can I apply Frontgate promotions, rewards, etc. to my trade order? Your trade discount cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount. However, you can always opt to take advantage of the current Frontgate promotional discount in place of your trade discount if it benefits you and your client.
  • Why am I not receiving my email communications? To ensure email delivery, make sure you have entered your address correctly and always utilize well-established email domains.
  • Can I use my client’s credit card to place the order? No. Payment must be tied directly to the owner of the trade account.
  • Why am I no longer able to use my tax exemption? The Tax ID associated with your account expires one year from date of enrollment and every year after. To preserve your Trade discount, simply send in a copy of your current state-issued Tax ID form to [email protected] to reactivate.
  • What type of warranties apply to trade orders? Trade orders are covered under the same warranty as standard Frontgate orders, which is a one-year quality guarantee on every product we sell. If the product becomes defective, we will repair or replace it up to a full year from the date of shipment. Products returned within 90 days of date of purchase are eligible for exchange or refund, less the cost of postage and handling. Special policies apply to seasonal/holiday decor and personalized merchandise.
  • I am ready to place my order, but I am not ready to receive the product yet. Can you hold orders for future delivery dates? Our warehouses are not equipped to hold future orders. For this reason, we recommend that you either wait until your space is ready to receive shipments before placing your order or find an alternative delivery destination.
  • Do you offer international shipping? No, we only ship to the contiguous United States at this time. However, we are happy to send your order to the freight forwarder of your choice.
  • Are there certain processes for returning my Trade order? All return policies and procedures can be found here. If you need assistance, our Trade Specialist team will be happy to help.
  • Does my Frontgate Trade discount extend to your sister brands? Your discount does apply to our sister brand Grandin Road, however, you're not able to place orders online. TO order please email [email protected] or call 888.263.9850 to speak with a product specialist. Ballard Designs has a separate Trade program that you will need to apply for separately. *Pricing

Frontgate Trade offers a discount of 25% off retail pricing. This discount is exclusively for members of Frontgate Trade, is not intended or permitted for use by non-members, and cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount. Qualifying purchases exclude gift certificates, postage and handling, taxes, canceled orders, replacement orders and returns. The Frontgate Trade Discount excludes special furniture set discounts and select third party brands. Quotations for large projects or quantity discounts will be provided upon request and are valid for 30 days. Frontgate reserves the right to exclude certain items from trade discounts.

Note: Frontgate does not offer wholesale or trade discounts to retail businesses.


Orders

Orders must be placed by the Frontgate Trade and Corporate Sales Department at 800.692.8073, online or in store with an associate or design consultant. For online orders, the total amount will be shown at checkout when the offer code is entered. You may initiate an order based on a quotation via our website, by calling a Trade Specialist at 800.692.8073, or by emailing [email protected].


Payment

Payment is required prior to order placement and may be made in the form of credit card or check. Payment must tie back to the billing address for the company listed on the Frontgate Trade application. Use of a client or unauthorized credit card may result in the revoking of your trade discount.


Product Warranty

We offer a One-year Quality Guarantee on every Frontgate product. If the product becomes defective, we will repair or replace it up to a full year from the date of shipment. Products returned within 90 days of date of purchase are eligible for exchange or refund, less the cost of postage and handling. Special policies apply to seasonal/holiday decor and personalized merchandise as stated below.


Returns

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 90 days, and we’ll replace it or refund the cost of the item (excluding Shipping and Handling fees). All returned items must be in their original packaging and in the condition in which they were received for a full refund.

We will replace any defective item for up to a full year from the date of purchase. All damages or defects must be clearly communicated to the customer service representative. Verification of the reported issues is completed through an inspection upon our receipt of the returned item(s). After our review, you will receive an exchange, merchandise credit or refund.

We are sorry, but once an item has been, customized, personalized or monogrammed it is not returnable.

Seasonal and Holiday decor is subject to the following return policy: All non-defective Christmas merchandise purchased after September 1 must be returned before December 23 or within 30 days of purchase (whichever occurs later).

Membership

Membership is not transferable; misuse of membership may result in termination. Misuse includes any resale of Frontgate merchandise in a retail outlet, website or store, transfer of membership, allowing others to use your membership, or submitting false or expired information to establish membership.


Tax ID and Trade Discount

The Tax ID associated with your account expires one year from date of enrollment and every year after. To preserve your Trade discount, simply send in a copy of your current state-issued Tax ID form to [email protected] to reactivate.


Termination and Changes

Frontgate reserves the right, with or without notice, to cancel the Frontgate Trade program at its discretion or to terminate membership in Frontgate Trade. Frontgate may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and such changes will be posted in the Terms and Conditions on the Frontgate Trade Website.
